The LIGNUM TEE was launched in 2002 after 3 years of intensive research. The result was a brilliant golf tee, first introduced on the market in the Gulf of Munich Fair in 2002. Since then, the demand for this innovative product has steadily increased. Today, the LIGNUM TEE is used by more than 3 million golfers in more than 20 countries.
The LIGNUM TEE is not comparable to a quality wood or PVC because of the unique production process and the elements used. Plant materials, wood, polymers and natural glue are used for the LIGNUM TEE. The elements are cut into micro particles and the micro-grains are formed by jet molding machines to an ingenious golf tee and this is why the new LIGNUM TEE is more durable, but still biodegradable.
This is also the reason why the greenkeepers are a big supporter of the new LIGNUM TEE. At an average stroke, the club head hits the ball at a speed of about 35 m / s. Upon contact, this speed decreases by about 6-8 m / s due to friction and resistance.
We gave the LIGNUM TEE more flexibility to launch the ball and thus increased the speed to 20% compared to ordinary wooden or PVC pieces. For all these reasons, consumers who have ever tried the new LIGNUM TEE are still loyal consumers who are very satisfied with the quality and playability of the new LIGNUM TEE.
The different lengths 62mm for all irons and woods, 72mm for drivers and 82mm - THE NEW 460cc for the biggest drivers - and the marked steps for height control give the golfer the perfect swing control, while the innovative material gives the tee a higher durability with more flexibility and does not cause damage to the turf maintenance machinery.
